We are looking for a summer trainee to our R&D Robotics team in Lahti.

What is it about?

Kemppi's R&D department offers welding automation related tasks. Our robotics team does:

• Embedded software development
• Embedded Linux development
• Electronics designing
• Quality assurance and system testing
• Welding testing and development
• Product concepting
• Technology research
• Sales support
• Customer support

The job we offer is mostly focused on researching networks and fieldbuses in embedded Linux environment, but based on your experience and expertise it is possible to do other kinds of tasks in parallel.

The summer job is scheduled to be from May to August, but the details will be agreed accordingly.

What do we expect from you?

• You are a software and/or electronics engineering student
• Your studies are on third or fourth year
• Basic understanding of networking and fieldbuses
• Good spoken and written English
• Open-minded attitude to face challenges

Having electronics and/or software engineering as a hobby is considered an advantage. Be prepared to share more about your projects – we would be happy to hear about them.
