Sounds like you? Great! Then this could be your next career step, because we’re currently looking for an Electronics R&D Engineer specializing in PCB design to join our welding power source R&D unit in Lahti in a permanent position. 

What will you be doing in this role

Your responsibilities will include PCB/electronics design and development work for welding equipment. You will work as a member of the project team, closely collaborating with other experts in electronics, mechanics, and software engineering. The key responsibilities of the role include:

• power and embedded circuit board electronics and PCB design
• maintenance and development of PCB design software and component libraries
• guiding and instructing other electronics designers in PCB design
• component material responsibilities
• collaborating closely with product development, production, and procurement teams.

These are the skills and qualities we value

• relevant technical education (e.g., MSc, BSc, Engineering, or equivalent)
• proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., PADS, Cadstar, Altium)
• a few years of work experience in industrial product development, specifically in PCB/electronics design
• understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
• ability to understand or design circuit connections
• a meticulous and precise approach to work
• written and spoken proficiency in English
• good teamwork skills and the ability to take initiative.
