Behind every reliable finance process, there are well-functioning systems and applications.

To further strengthen our finance team, we are now looking for a Finance Applications Controller.

What does the role include?

In this role, you will have overall ownership of our finance and accounting applications, including ERP, accounts payable, travel, and payment systems used across Kemppi Group globally.

You will report to the Group Financial Controller and work in close cooperation with ICT, system owners, and external vendors to ensure stable operations, continuous development, and effective support for the finance organization.

In your day-to-day work, you will:

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of finance-related software applications

• Act as the primary finance owner for accounting and finance systems

• Support users from a finance perspective and contribute to user documentation and training

• Coordinate issue resolution and root cause analysis together with ICT and vendors

• Participate in and support finance-related system upgrades, changes, and development projects

• Act as a finance partner for IT, system owners, and external vendors

• Ensure finance requirements are properly translated into system solutions and processes.

You will succeed in this role if you have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• A solid understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting systems

• Several years of ERP user experience

• Experience in finance-related software implementation and maintenance (e.g. ERP projects)

• The ability to work cross-functionally with IT and business stakeholders

• Knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage

• An analytical mindset with a structured and proactive way of working

• Strong communication skills and the ability to support users

• A genuine interest in finance systems, applications, and digital finance development

• Good MS Office skills

• Good Finnish and English skills, both written and spoken.
